Synopsis
My Dog… is the story of Garrett Novak, an oblivious and meekly talented failed sitcom writer who finds himself floating through uncertainty having moved back to his hometown after being run out of Hollywood. Despite his efforts to finally get his “magnum opus” screenplay/stageplay/great-american-novel with a questionably offensive title finally made, Garrett falls backwards into moderate online success as a “satirical” writer on a popular political blog, catapulting him into his greatest professional and romantic accomplishments of his life. But once his self-sabotaging behavior leads it all to blow up in his face, his friends, and the potential love of his life Rachel, are all caught between.
